About the event

Join CPHA and Baltimore Neighborhood Indicator Alliance's Dr. Seema Iyer for a talk on Baltimore City's population change on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 1 PM to 2 PM via Zoom.

According to the 2020 Census data released in August 2021, Baltimore experienced a -5.7% population loss between 2010 and 2020. Baltimore City's current population is 585,708, the lowest population in over one hundred years. Although Baltimore lost population overall, population loss for communities throughout the city has not been uniform - with many communities gaining population; others are losing more than 4time the citywide average. How can we stop the population loss? What can we learn from other cities that have faced similar challenges?
